Other than product protection, custom inserts allow you to present your products nicely during the unboxing experience. Paper inserts or kraft paper inserts are perfect for small, lightweight items such as beauty products and stationery, and can be fully printed on.
Corrugated cardboard inserts are ideal for products that are heavier and need a bit more protection, such as smaller glass bottles. Corrugated inserts can be printed on.
Foam inserts are best for fragile items such as jewelry, glass or electronics. Foam inserts are the least eco-friendly and cannot be printed on. Foam inserts are available in black or white.

If you already have a structural design for your inserts along with a dieline, feel free to send that over to us for a quote! Otherwise, here's our process for structural design.
Submit an enquiry with as much detail about the inserts you have in mind (e.g. product type, insert material, weight of products, placement of products). Rough sketches are helpful too!
Once we've confirmed your requirements, simply place an order for structural design services and send us your products.
We'll create an insert design and accompanying box with your products on hand.
We'll send over the completed structural sample for your approval. When you're ready to order in bulk, just let us know!
If you want us to just produce your insert design, please send us your dieline file for the insert. We can then provide a quote for you based on your specifications. Note that since we will produce according to your specifications and dieline template, we cannot guarantee your products will fit in the insert and associated box.

Typically around 5-7 business days once we receive your products. We'll then send you photos and mail the sample to you if required.
For paper and cardboard inserts, we can print in full CMYK and Pantone color. You can also add extras such as embossing, foil stamping, spot UV, and more. Note that costs will be higher for Pantone and the aforementioned extras.
Our standard production time for all products is 10-12 business days.
Assuming the same materials for the insert as your box, the price of an insert is around 25-30% of the box. For example, if the mailer box costs US$1 per unit, the insert will cost around US$0.25-US$0.30 per unit.
Please note that this is just an estimation. The final price of inserts will be determined once we've created a structural design, which is where we'll know the optimal type and amount of materials to use.
Paper and cardboard inserts are very eco-friendly! They're made with at least 50% post consumer content, are 100% recyclable, and use soy-based ink for print.
We use Polyethylene foam (PE Foam) which can come in a standard black or white color. If you're looking for another color, please get in touch with us!
